What style we teach?
Welcome to LGMA Kids Karate! Our goal is to teach the most effective and easiest-to-learn form of martial arts. Our classes combine fundamental karate and kickboxing techniques with confidence and discipline-building strategies. Building confidence and discipline in our students is not just about teaching them karate moves. Rather, it's about creating the right learning environment and using effective teaching methods.
Our aim is to help our students develop excellent technique, athletic ability, strong eye contact, good posture, and confident speaking skills. These skills will benefit them not only in karate class but also outside the class. From the very first class, you'll see how our award-winning teaching methodology can help your child develop confidence, discipline, fitness, and self-defense skills.
How our classes build discipline
At LGMA Karate we aim to increase focus, concentration, and discipline through how we teach the karate classes. Making sure that the class is structured with clear instructions in a safe and controlled environment. You will see from the very first class how we will instill discipline and focus with our children's martial art classes.
The first line of delf defense
At our self-defense training program, we believe that the most effective way to defend oneself is not by relying solely on martial art techniques such as punches, kicks, and grapples. Instead, we prioritize developing a strong voice and good eye contact as the first line of defense. We believe that these attributes can help students avoid potentially dangerous situations altogether by deterring potential attackers or by calling for help when needed. We firmly believe that instilling these qualities from the very first class can help build confidence and empower individuals to protect themselves in any situation. Therefore, we prioritize teaching students techniques to improve their verbal and nonverbal communication skills, such as assertiveness and eye contact, as part of our comprehensive self-defense training program.
